~~Emanuel Prost, 89, of Union passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Born in Michalki, Poland, Emanuel came to the United States in 1951, and lived in Birmingham, Alabama. He also lived in Newark and Irvington New Jersey before settling in Union in 1973. Emanuel worked as a fork lift operator for American Can Company in Hillside, New Jersey for many years. He loved birds, particularly pigeons.
Emanuel is survived by his wife Adoline; sons Norbert Prost and his wife Ines, and their children Jackie and Michael; and Norman Prost and his wife Dee; and their children Jessica and Travis; sister Greta and brother Wilhelm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11am at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
