Eleanor M. Otten of Colonia died at Kindred Hospital in Rahway on January 5, 2013. She was 89. Born in Newark, she had lived in Colonia for over 40 years. She worked at Schering-Plough in Kenilworth in Quality Control.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Alfred, daughter Margaret and is survived by her grandchildren, Robert Remite of Colonia, Constance Slonaker of Seaside, great-grandchildren, Robert Remite, Nicolle, Eric, Jessica & Ashley Slonaker and great-great-grandchild Bentley Edward Kennedy.
