~~Edward John Sposobiec, 73, of Jupiter, Fl and formerly of Springfield and Chatham, NJ passed away on August 22, 2017. A funeral service will be held at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave in Springfield on Saturday, August 26th at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in N. Arlington. Born and raised in Newark, the son of John and Stella Sposobiec, Eddie had lived in Chatham and Springfield before retiring to Jupiter. Eddie is survived by his son, David Sposobiec, daughter, Kimber Sobeck, and grandson, Joseph Sposobiec as well as his sister, Veronica DePack, brothers Michael and Walter Sposobiec, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre deceased by his brother, Joseph Sposobiec. Eddie was an expert mechanic and tow truck driver who always helped people over the years. He served in the Army Reserves and always supported our troops. He was an avid horseman and loved riding horses. Eddie enjoyed adventure and traveled throughout his life. He was an experienced scuba diver who enjoyed finding and diving in the most dangerous caves. He enjoyed training dogs and is survived by his sweet cocker spaniel, Rocky, the Rock Star.
