Donna Davidson, of Union, formerly of Fords, passed away on March 12, 2019 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was 58.
Born in East Orange, Donna was raised in Union and attended St. Michael’s School and Union High School, graduating in 1978. In 1984, she and her husband moved to Fords, returning to Union 5 years ago.
Donna worked for Midlantic Bank at the Newark and Edison branches until she and her husband started their family. She later returned to work, taking a position with the Woodbridge Board of Education as a Paraprofessional, primarily out of the Matthew Jago School. She has been with them for the past 17 years. This year, she was honored as the Support Person of the Year for the district. She loved working with challenged children. She was also past Vice-President and Co-President of PACE parents organization, a PTO member for School 18 and a volunteer with Woodbridge Buddy Ball.
Devoted to her family, she was the beloved wife of her husband Glenn of Union. Loving mother of her son Robert of Union. Cherished sister of Dorothy Silvia and her husband Vincent of Warren. Devoted daughter of Margaret Slezak and the late Edward.
