Diana Breen DeCrescenzo, 37, of Cedar Knolls, passed away suddenly on Saturday August 27, 2016. Daughter to Elizabeth Breen, she was born on November 11, 1978 at Ridgewood Valley Hospital.
Diana graduated from Wayne Valley High School before attending Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and graduating from William Paterson College. Diana worked as a claims litigator for Travelers Insurance. She spent many hours volunteering in the local Little League Baseball and Softball League, where she served on the Board, and became an integral part of the lives of the children she coached, including her own children. Family, friends, coaching, Girl Scouts and helping others were Diana’s passion. She touched those around her with her infectious smile and contagious laughter. Diana always knew how to make people laugh.
Diana is survived by her husband Eduardo; children Giovanna, Marco and Luca; mother Elizabeth; twin sister Maria Billmeyer and her husband Mike; brother Tony Breen and his wife Sarah; sisters in law Filomena Bianco and her husband Domenico, Elisa Mancuso and her husband A.J., and Concetta Schmidt and her husband Carl; and mother in law Palma DeCrescenzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Martyr Cemetery, Madison. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. in Whippany.
