Dennis “Jimmy” McErlean, 65, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 after a long illness. Born and raised in the Ironbound Section of Newark, he moved to Union 20 years ago. Jimmy proudly served in the US Marine Corp, during the Vietnam War. He was a hardworking family man, and sports enthusiast.
Predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and George, and brother Gerald, ( Butch) Jimmy is survived by his sons, Michael and Scott; sisters Veronica Faulkner, Kathleen Tofel and Diane Kazmirek; brothers Daniel and Kevin, and Linda, the mother of his sons. Jimmy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
