David Henriksen, 59, of New Providence, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on February 3, 2014. Born in Summit, David has lived in Berkeley Heights and New Providence his whole life. He loved boating, fishing, cars and garage sales, his beach house, woodworking, car shows, dancing, traveling and dogs. He was the owner of D & D Construction and Plowing in New Providence for many years, prior to that he worked at the family owned restaurant Keller’s in Berkeley Heights. He is pre-deceased by his mother, Rose Marie Henriksen (nee Pecca), and his brother in law Ned Morrison and his cocker spaniel Jozie. David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane Henriksen (nee Viola), his father Richard Henriksen, brothers Richard and his wife Lois, Chris and his wife Mary Lou, mother in law Olga Viola, brother in law Carl and his wife Chris and sister in law, Mary Ann Morrison, also survived by several nieces and nephews and his three cocker spaniels, Jayme, Jaden & Maxwell.
