Darlene Ann Jones Roth, of Fuquay-Varina, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
She graduated from South Side High School of Newark, NJ, where she was Captain of the Twirlers, and attended Rutgers University Evening School.
She was a beloved, faithful, charitable, active member of the Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church where she supported various activities including counting, prayer shawl, The Wonderful Wacky Women’s Bible Study Group, and other activities.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Henry Roth; daughter, Susan Kingsley and husband, Jonathan of Metuchen, NJ; son, David Roth and wife, Heidi of Arlington, MA; grandchildren, Marissa and Jared Needell, and Maya and Owen Roth. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Ethel (Jones) Honchen, William Jones, Floyd Jr. (Junie) Jones, Kenneth Jones, Donald Jones, Edward (Pete) Jones, Eleanor (Jones) Hobby, and Ernestine (Jones) MacArthur.
Memorial Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union, NJ. A Committal will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Stuyvesant Ave., Union.
