Corinne “Corie” Myers, 49, of Union, passed away on June 20, 2024. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, on Wednesday, June 26th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
Born in Summit to Joseph and Elaine (Votapek) Dempsey, Corie grew up in Union and graduated from Union High School in 1993. She earned her bachelor’s degree from William Paterson College and worked as a nurse for many years at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Corie enjoyed movies, shopping, and spending time at the Jersey Shore.
Corie is survived by her beloved children, Julia, Emily, and Ella Myers. She was the cherished daughter of Joseph and the late Elaine Dempsey, and sister of Kristin D’Andrea (husband Mark) and Matthew Dempsey (partner Dan Hall).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Corie’s memory may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Ave., Madison, NJ 07940.
