Clementina Pereira, 89, of Union, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at CareOne, Livingston, NJ surrounded by her family.
Clementina was born on July 10, 1929 in Monte, Murtosa, Portugal. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Carolina (nee Ceblao) DaSilva.
She and her family immigrated from Portugal in 1969. Clementina loved cooking and spending time with her cherished granddaughter, Briana. She enjoyed going to the YMCA WISE program at the Methodist Church in Union, NJ.
Clementina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Manuel Pereira in 2012. She is survived by her son, Joe Pereira and wife Ana Paula and niece, Maria Campos. She was predeceased by her sister, Rosa Matos, brother, Jose Fernandes and cherished granddaughter, Briana.
A graveside service will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clementina’s name may be made to Sarah’s Fight for Hope, 10 Amherst Drive, Long Valley, NJ 07853.
