Charles W. Shelley, 89, of Florham Park, NJ passed peacefully on December 19, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, Charles lived in Florham Park for 39 years. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army during World War II. A parishioner of Holy Family Church, Florham Park. Charles spent his career in banking. He was Vice President of numerous banks. His longest tenure was with Israel Discount Bank, 5th Ave. New York City. He is pre-deceased by his wife Mary Lou Shelley (nee Stitt). Charles is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen Hooper and Patricia Drew, three grandchildren, Jacqueline Santobianco, John M. Hooper & Christopher J. Drew, and his sister Elizabeth Shelley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:30 am from Holy Family Church, Florham Park. Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ. Visiting hours, Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ.
