Charles Lewis Schedlbauer
Very caring, loving father, husband, brother, and friend
Charles Lewis Schedlbauer of Chatham Borough, NJ, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was 69, born in Schenectady, NY, raised in Red Bank, and had lived in Chatham since 1986.
Charles is survived by his wife, Alice; daughters: Jennifer Schedlbauer of Balikpapan, Indonesia and Amy Schedlbauer of Alexandria, VA; and sisters: Barbara Grimmer of Fair Haven, NJ, Melinda Johnson of Bayville, NJ and Mary Anderson of Leawood, KS.
Charles was a financial analyst with Exxon Company International for 33 years, working in New York, Venezuela, Norway, Ivory Coast, London, and Florham Park, NJ. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic, received a bachelor’s degree in 1964 from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in1966 from New York University. He served in the U.S. Army and Reserve from 1960 to 1970.
Charles loved golf, photography and travel. A parishioner of St. Patrick Church, he had served on the Chatham Borough Zoning Board of Adjustment.
