Charlene Ann Hufnagle, of Cedar Knolls, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was 51 years old.
Born in Montclair, NJ to Donald and Jean Marie Bender, Charlene grew up in Boonton with her brother, Donald, and sister, Joy. For the past 20 years, Charlene had been a resident of Hanover Township where she raised her three children.
Charlene had a passion for theatre and music, and was always behind the scenes at her children’s school plays and musicals. She loved hosting cast parties at her home and was the in house “expert” when it came to costumes, makeup, and hair for performances.
Above all, Charlene will be remembered for her fun loving spirit and dedication to her children. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Corrine and Allison Hufnagle; her beloved son, Richard Donald Hufnagle; her sister, Joy Fedewitz and her husband Jim of Allamuchy, NJ; her brother, Donald Bender of Austin, TX; her neice, Laura Fedewitz; her nephew, Ryan Fedewitz; and many loving friends.
A visitation for Charlene will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, located at 49 Whippany Road in Whippany. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls. Committal Prayers will be shared at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in East Hanover following the service.
