Carol R. Lutz, (nee Melick), 83, of Lebanon, NJ passed peacefully on November 22, 2020. Born in Los Angeles, Ca. Carol grew up in Irvington, graduating from Irvington High School in 1955. She raised her three daughters alone until she remarried in 1971 moving to North Plainfield with her second husband. In 1978 she moved to Lebanon N.J. Carol worked in admissions at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, then she was the senior secretary at Hoechst Roosevelt/Merck Pharmaceutical in Warren until she retired.

Carol was an avid reader, volunteering at her local library in Whitehouse Station, she loved singing in the church choir, participating in church functions, antiquing, concerts, Broadway shows, bird watching, gardening, hanging out with her “Golden Girl” friends, Shirley Carvatt and Jean Gould. She also looked forward to relaxing weekends at her summer place in the Poconos. She is pre-deceased by 2 husbands, Edward Envall and Edmund Lutz of 35 years. Carol is survived by her children, Beverly L. Cipriano, Ellen D. McCormick, Kurt Lutz and Donna A. Luna, her sister Christine Stratton, step children1 Allison L. Walls and Tom Stewart-Lutz along with 11 grandchildren, 8 great grand kids and 1 great great grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10 am to 11 am, with a Prayer Service at 11 am at Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. Interment Hollywood Memorial Park.
