Carmella M. Corritori, 84, of Chatham Borough, passed away at OverlookHospital on July 25th. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave, Chatham, on Saturday, July 28th at 11:00am. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St, Chatham on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
Born and raised in New York City, Carmella had lived in Chatham Borough for the past 54 years. She had worked as a bookkeeper for The Chatham Trust Company from where she retired after 15 years of service. Carmella was long time parishioner at St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed gardening and trips to Atlantic City with her friends, but most of all, spending time with her family.
Carmella was the beloved wife of the late Daniel A. Corritori. She was the loving mother of Daniel and his wife Eileen, and Julia Brant. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kathleen, Erin, and Kevin Corritori, and Lauren Brant. Her daughter Joanne Corritori had died previously. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmella’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
