Brian Matthew Dougherty
Brian M. Dougherty, 28, of Chatham Township, New Jersey passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 15, 2017.
Brian was born on May 2, 1988 in Summit, New Jersey. He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Kevin and Mary (nee Fetten) Dougherty.
Brian was a 2007 graduate of Chatham High School and furthered his education at The College of New Jersey with a degree in Exercise Science in 2013.
He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed fly fishing and saltwater fishing. Brian liked spending time with his family down in Stone Harbor, NJ where he enjoyed boating. In his spare time, he played the guitar and loved restoring cars.
Brian is survived by his parents; Kevin P. Dougherty, DMD and Mary Dougherty, his siblings; Tricia, Michael, and Maggie. In addition, he is survived by his maternal grandmother; Kathryn Fetten, paternal grandparents; Bill and Janet Dougherty, uncles and aunts; James Fetten, MD., John Fetten, Esq., Tim Fetten, Esq., Sue Connors, Esq., Jeffrey Fetten, Robert Fetten, Craig Dougherty and Jon Dougherty, and seventeen cousins.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to NCADD, https://www.ncadd.org/get-involved/make-a-donation.
