Barbara F. Bell, 75, of Springfield, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.
Barbara was born on July 2, 1939 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grafton and Catherine (Trahman) Bell.
She was a fleet manager at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, Summit, NJ until retirement. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church, Irvington, NJ and was very active within the church congregation. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and especially loved her pets.
She is survived by her three nieces, Lorin Mooney, Lisa Mannion, and Lynda Healy. She is also survived by three great nieces, one great nephew, and her beloved dog, Annie. She was predeceased by her brother, Grafton Bell.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. An entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, P.O. Box 159, Madison, NJ 07940-0159.
