Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Arcangela D’Agostini (nee Silvestri), 96, of Springfield, NJ passed away peacefully on November 27, 2015 in her home surrounded by her adoring family.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, November 30 from 4 to 8 pm, at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral mass on Tuesday, December 1, at 10 am at St. James Church, 45 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield, NJ. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
Arcangela was born in Italy. Her family later moved to Montreal and after six years in Canada, the family moved to the United States in 1961, settling in Newark and moving to Springfield in 1968.
She retired from William Kratt Company, Union, NJ, a position she enjoyed for over 10 years.
Arcangela enjoyed working in her garden and cooking for her family. The most important part of her life was being with her family. She was a wonderful mother, thoughtful grandmother and loving great-grandmother.
Arcangela was the beloved wife of the late Gaetano D’Agostini; she was predeceased by her brother, Domenico Silvestri and her dear niece, Maria Pisapia. She is survived by her children, Anna Maria Pasquarelli and her husband, Dominick; Dominick and his wife Lorena; and Mario. Her grandchildren: Angela Pruitt and husband, George; Giuliana Pasquarelli-Stier and her husband Andy; Jenna, Gaetano and Nina D’Agostini. She will be missed very much by her seven great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Veronica and Robert Pruitt; Abigail, Eli, Cara and Dominic Stier.
