Antoinette L. Padovano, “Toni”, 80 of Union NJ passed away on February 11, 2019. A funeral service will be held at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union on Monday, February 18th at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Born and raised in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Crouch) Mazzola, Toni had also lived in Irvington before moving to Union. She was a waitress at Jahn’s Restaurant in Union for many years. Toni was a longtime parishioner at St. Michaels the Archangel Church, she loved reading and cooking and made the most amazing meatballs and sauce, but most of all she loved taking care of her family.
Toni was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Dominick Padovano. She was the loving mother of the late Mildred Garbiras. She is survived by her cherished grandson’s, Dominick Garbiras and his wife Laura and Jason Garbiras, her three great granddaughters, her sisters, Nancy Harris and her husband Bill and Millie Moshier and her husband Jim, and her son-in-law Jeffrey Garbiras. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nettie’s memory may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, NJ 07083.
