Anthony Bilanych, 86, of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.
Anthony was born on July 9, 1927 in Wola Matiaszowa. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dmytro and Helena (nee Staruch) Bilanych.
Anthony was a member of St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Whippany, NJ. He was very active in the Ukrainian American Community.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Katherine Bilanych. He is also survived by four children; daughter, Romana McCormack and husband Michael of Cedar Knolls, NJ, son, Zenon Bilanych and wife Mary Ann of Cedar Knolls, NJ, son, Roman Bilanych of Cedar Knolls, NJ, and daughter, Daria Wittnebert and husband, John of Cedar Knolls, NJ, two sisters, Katherine Fryz and Anna Staruch. His cherished grandchildren; Timmy, Chrissy and husband Kevin, John, Stefan, Paul, Tania, Adam, Cassie, Johnny, and Michael.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. Parastas will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Building Fund of St. John The Baptist Ukrainian Church, 60 North Jefferson Road, Whippany, NJ 07981.
