Anna Squillace

Anna Squillace (nee: Orrei), 92, of Cedar Knolls, passed away on Tuesday, January 08, 2013. Born and raised in Newark, Anna has also lived in Elizabeth, Roselle Park, Whippany and Monroe Township before moving to Cedar Knolls 4 years ago. She owned D&O Liquors and Deli in Roselle, with her first husband James Occhipinti. Anna enjoyed golf, cooking, rooting for the Yankees and Giants, watching soap operas, and most of all, her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husbands, James Occhipinti and Anthony Squillace; son Emanuel Occhipinti; and siblings Frank, Etta, Yola, Grace, Josie and Rosie; Anna is survived by her daughter Connie Habhegger; daughter in law Dolores Occhipinti; grandchildren Robert Cobleigh and his wife Elena, Anne Marie Gagliardi and her husband Steve, Jill Occhipinti, Dr. James Occhipinti and his wife Elizabeth, Julie Temme and her husband Andy and John Occhipinti; 12 great grandchildren; and her sisters Elsie Orrei and Vera Wilson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 9:30am at Notre Dame of Mt Carmel Church 75 Ridgedale Ave in Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside. There will be a visitation on Friday from 4-8pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany.
