Susan A. Capron “Ann”, 92, of Saylorsburg, PA passed away on July 19, 2018. A funeral service will be held at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield on Tuesday, July 24th at 1:00pm. Interment is private. Born in Paisley, Scotland, the daughter of Stewart and Susan (Jolly) Scobie, Ann came to the United States when she was 3 years old. First settling in Kearny, she also lived in Newark before moving to Saylorsburg in 1979. A homemaker, Ann enjoyed cooking and spending holidays and special occasions with family and friends.
Susan was the beloved wife of the late George Capron, Jr. She was the loving mother of Linda Attianesi (Frank), Gary Capron (Maryellen) and Scott Capron. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Ryan Capron, Julianne Capron, Laura Capron and Katelynn Capron (Max Uniejewski) and great grandson Samson Ryan Uniejewski. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice, 1619 North 9th Street, Stoudsburg, PA 18360.
